Once, there lived a lion who was the king of the jungle. His favorite pastime was to sit by the sea. One day, he saw a beautiful dolphin playing in the water. The excited lion called out, “Oh Dolphin! Will you be my friend?” The dolphin replied, “Of course! It will be my pleasure.”
From that day onwards, the two became very good friends. One day, as the lion was sitting by the sea, he was suddenly attacked by a raging bull. The lion was taken aback.
He called out, “Help me, Dolphin!” But the poor dolphin could not help as she would have died if she came out of water.
The lion was eventually defeated by the bull but he was very angry with the dolphin.
The poor dolphin cried and explained everything to him. The lion understood that everyone was helpless in front of nature. He forgave the dolphin.
Moral: Do not have expectations which cannot be met.
