Once upon a time, there was a hen in a farm.
One day, she came across a toy carriage. She was thrilled and shouted, “This carriage will take me all over the world!” But there was no one to pull her carriage. All the farm animals refused one by one. But, some wild cats offered to pull the carriage. The hen was jubilant. But the farm animals warned her, “Cats are very clever creatures! Do not be fooled by them!” But the foolish hen ignored the advice and set off.
The carriage was going smoothly and the hen was enjoying the ride when suddenly it halted. The surprised hen ordered, “Pull on!” But to her horror, the cats started smacking their lips. The terrified hen was far away from home and friends. She tried to escape, but the cats pounced on her and ate her. And that was the end of the foolish hen!
Moral of the story is, “Pride goes before fall!”
