A long time ago, there was a certain village which was famous all over for its lush green fields. Having heard so much about the village, a man came to see it. He loved every inch of the village, but suddenly, he was an empty patch of land. He asked the villagers, “Why is this patch empty?” The villagers replied, “We have tried everything but nothing grows here!”.
The man thought, ‘I will prove the villagers wrong!’ The man prayed to God before starting his work. He manured the land and sowed some apple seeds. He worked hard day and night; he even slept near the seeds at night.
The villagers commented, “He is wasting time!” Well, one fine day, the impossible happened.
Little plants grew from the soil. Oh! What a sight it was for everyone!
The man’s hard work had indeed turned a barren land into a fertile land.
Moral : Hard work always pays.
